Re: How are you investing outside TSP?
I have a Vanguard Roth IRA and I chose a target date fund closest to my projected retirement date. I do a seasonal strategy with my Traditional TSP 401k (Strategy 40734). I max out my Roth IRA and my TSP 401k each year.

Federal Employee question.. not TSP related
Hi everyone, My husband and I are both federal employees. We have one daughter. I am a GS-6 Step 10 and my husband is a GS-14 Step 1. Is it more beneficial money wise/tax wise to have our health insurance, dental insurance, and vision insurance come out of my paycheck or his paycheck? Or does it not...

Re: Push Pull and Jump
Tomanyiron,
Just to be clear, since the Jump indicator went above the 0 line, does that mean you are going to IFT to the S fund?

Re: PNR and Standard deviation
Strategy 40734 has only 15 negative months (or 16 negative months depending on December 2019) out of 192 months from January 2004 to now.

Seasonal strategies telling them to IFT to S Fund most likely is the reasoning.

Re: Agency contributions rates going up in October?
The CSRDF’s largest sources of income are (1) annual payments from the general fund of the Treasury to make up for the insufficient funding of benefits accrued under CSRS, (2) payments from federal agencies and the Postal Service on behalf of their employees, and (3) interest payments on the U.S. Tr...

Chindsey, #49786 is a nice strategy! Have you been following it? Are you at the 20.83% return for the year? If so, that is awesome!

Hi KWG_5,
Can you please test 20241? That is the strategy I am currently using and I am curious to see what it looks like.
Thank you!

Strategy #27 vs. Jahbulon's Basic
Hi everyone, Not sure if I'm missing something, but I noticed Strategy #27 benchmarked against Jahbulon's basic have matching means for the years 2004-2016 but in the year 2017, the means don't match. Strategy #27 has a mean of 14.29 for 2017 and Jahbulon's basic has a mean of 14.65 for 2017. Can so...
