Re: Brokerage Account vs. TSP
I've heard there's some folks salivating over the amount of $ in 401k's and other retirement accounts and may seek to tax such accounts in order to pay off the incredible deficits we have been running. I know you can't really plan for this but anyone have any thoughts on it occurring?

Re: Fed ready to end bond buying later this year?
Ha, that's funny. Where do they get this stuff? Bernanke can't let off the gas pedal. I do offer one solution to get us out that I don't hear much about...cheap energy. Expand oil production here and drive gas prices down so the middle class has some extra change.

Re: Sell Bond Funds NOW
I saw a chart for the 30 year bond that showed the RHS forming/peaking of H&S pattern. This doesn't show up in AGG however.

Re: Cancellation of Payroll Tax Holiday
Feel lucky Navig8tor. Everyone outside of the Military that works in the public sector resumed the full rate of the 6.2% for Social Security without receiving a pay bump at all. That's not entirely true. The 6.2% is capped at $6,200, I believe, meaning that if you make over $100,000, you are taxed ...

Re: S&P 500
You'd think the gap would get filled, but it hasn't showed any signs of wanting to give up the current range. Banksters have been building support the past 7 days, maybe for a takedown of 1475 and attempt at 1500.

Re: IFT's to the F Fund
Jah, I think it's probably a bit over exaggerated as a result of the Fed's statement (which I don't believe). I think they just said that to keep people guessing a bit. Will have to decide if it's overdone and whether to actually make the switch in real account today.

Re: IFT's to the F Fund
Careful, 30yr bond just broke 50% Fibo from March low to July high. I went 100% F here yesterday, but didn't change my real account in time. I think we get some selling of equities for the next 3 days.
