The initial statement is incorrect. 75000 people is the answer to the question. It's actually ~2% of 4.5 million people that becomes millionaires. Causey needs an editor.

Where you live in retirement is very important. I'm moving from northern virginia to wilmington NC this fall. My house being built in carolina is nicer than my $800K nova house. taxes on carolina house are 25% of nova taxes. $2300 vs $9000 annually. local taxes are cheaper also. Add in nicer weather...

Schwab does everything you need for zero commission on most transactions. Great customer service. I do all my trading on my phone. Keep a watch list and trade accounts. Works great! I have no personal experience with Vanguard to be fair
