Re: Tax Loopholes Don't Exist
I did not equate legality with morality; you did. I simply pointed out the absurdity of your "morality" that following the rules is wrong, that following the law is not right, that doing what is legal is not right. Therefore, your "morality" is that the law is wrong and breaking ...

Re: Check out the tidbit on virtual coins...
It doesn't matter if you in your GOV position can affect the price the price of a stock, it is the public's perception that every GOV employee of a particular agency will have insider information that enables them to profit from trading stock securities regulated by that agency. The FAA, for instanc...

Re: Tax Loopholes Don't Exist
There are going to be a new set of whiners under the revised tax laws as some of the loop holes/deductions are closed or reduced. The Feinstein whiner has stated many times that the Trump tax laws are unfair and wrong and that she wants to change them back. When tax time rolls around again, will yo...

Tax Loopholes Don't Exist
Any whiner (ie, Chicago Tribune, Shumer, Feinstein, et al) that accuses someone of taking advantage of a TAX LOOPHOLE (even though that someone obeyed the law and followed the established rules) is simply making up sh_t because they're frustrated that that someone refuses to accept the punishment th...

Oh my Tommy....has your indicator here turned into a contrarian indicator? LOL! You show pull down but then the pre-market indicators are showing up? LOL! Crazy...just crazy! It could be the market reacting to the SCOTUS ruling on collecting taxes from on-line purchases.... Just another way to hamm...

Re: "Go away in May"
Historically, the "go away in May" literally referred to NY Stockbrokers "going away" to their summer homes in the Hamptons for the season. Maybe they came back in September because it got to cold to play on the beach.

Re: "Quadruple Witching" Options Expiration on Friday, June
Remember in these days before Friday's expiration that share price moves may trigger option call-ins and that can further affect market direction. One big news story and everything changes. Keep the faith and what is your gut telling you? What is an option call-in and how does it affect share price?

China doesn't have to be in the I fund to adversely affect the I fund with it's slowing economy; it will affect the C fund too. If China's economy tanks, it will depress the rest of the world's economies.

Re: Charting software?
What is BEST for you will really depend on two things: how much you want to spend (I like free) and how long your timeline is for your investing style. I use the stockcharts.com free charts though I plan to buy a subscription to take advantage of the extensive scanning function and intraday charting...

From the mouth of Office of Personnel Management Director Jeff T. H. Pon: Pon said. “ I don’t believe that we should look at a federal job for 30 years and then retire and then have, you know, lifetime retirement anymore.” This is the same guy who thinks a COLA is Locality Pay and that he needs to t...
