Re: TSP & DIVORCE
My wife was awarded not a percentage, but $17,100 of my TSP. We were divorced over 2 years ago and the documents that I sent to TSP was rejected because it didn't state which TSP account it should come from. I have 2 accounts, military and USCS. I combined those accounts a little before the finalize...

Re: TSP & DIVORCE
Well, he / she can look at taking a loan out on his/her TSP and reinvest that $$. It would need to be paid back at a very low interest rate. However, the other investment will more than likely be considered community property also. Maybe stuff it under a mattress until the divorce in final, then rei...

Re: Beyond TSP
I am in the same situation. I am now able to max out my TSP. I also have a Roth IRA for myself and my wife. Besides that, I have a brokerage account but have not purchased anything as of yet. Just a little $$ sitting on the sidelines. I just recently subscribed to www.alphaprofit.com and they have s...

Re: Traditional TSP and Roth TSP
Is that agency matching included in the $17,500? I calculated my $17,500 to include the $$ that the agency puts in also.

Contribute to TSP Roth and individual Roth IRA
I have what appears to be a simple question, but I cannot get a concrete answer. I would like to change my allocations to 10% Roth TSP and 10% Traditional TSP. If I max out my Fidelity Roth IRA, how will the impact the TSP Roths maximum contributions, if at all. Bottom line, can I max out my TSP Rot...

I have been managing my TSP overseas for the past 6 years from Japan and Bahrain. No issues here.

Re: Sell & Go Away in May, or Stick with Current Upward Tren
After election years, I have read that the common trends get thrown out the window.

Re: Newbie seeking help
Some cards carry a 0% interest rate for 18 months if you transfer your debt to them. You just have to plan on paying that back during the 18 month timeframe. Some of the interest rates are very high 17-22% after that initial 18 months. I did this with Discover card, transferred $11,000 to that card ...

Re: Insider Trading
With all this insider trading going on, it appears that it will drop the market temporarily. Hopefully it does not cause a landslide. These multi-millionairres don't really care what it does to the market and the impact on the little people. Seems to me they are very selfish. When you have that much...
