Re: Feds not getting the Vaccine
I don’t necessarily agree with the viewpoints of those that do not get the vaccine and are now about to lose their job. But; I can emphasize with it and the chooses they are being thrown into right now. It’s a sucky situation for all. And unfortunately, any argument leads right back to politics, whi...

Re: Executive Order on Requiring Coronavirus Disease 2019 Vaccination for Federal Employees
This is very relevant news… likely to cause controversy. Yet; coming fro My foxhole: I went to two visitations/wakes for co-workers in the last week. Two. There are two more coming up. This is a tough thing to watch. I’m really all about you choosing what you place into your body, but the paranoia t...

Re: Still in the Military?
I’m still chugging along. I’m at 19 Active Federal right now (25 total years so far). I don’t anticipate staying as long as I first thought. So I’ll likely bow out in the next 2-5 years b

Re: New Website Status & Bug Reports
Am I missing the location to see the dollar amounts gained or lost during the time period you were in a Fund and then IFT’d to another one (in fantasy)?
I see the unrealized gains at the top, but that’s it.

Re: Inquiring Minds, what’s your strategy?
The core strategy I started with this year is 81608. I made a couple of changes (one at the very beginning for Inauguration gains and then in FEB I stayed in funds a few days longer and pushed to G Fund 19 Feb). Those changes are reflected in this strat: 143676 Then I made another change by going in...

Re: Pulling the trigger.
I think I gotta follow the plan here.
Seems like there is way too much probability of the market going down again soon. Staying out in G Fund.
There’s no sensenin doubting the strategy now

Re: Pulling the trigger.
So is the Stimulus really already accounted for? Or is there room for a melt up? Bloobs mention of perhaps room for a 10% downward trend is eye catching. Yet here we sit the day before the house votes and approves the relief bill, placing it within the POTUS’s hands. The concern is a quick jump up, ...

Re: "Allocation" vs "IFT"
I’d say switch it out to IFT. I write stuff on the side on redder and on Wordpress and was asked that same question when I say stuff like “my new allocation is this”. I’ve had people get confused with contribution allocation versus IFT

Re: 2021 Fantasy TSP numbers not working
Mine still appears to be broke. There’s a DEC 2020 entry as the top of my IFTs, thus seemingly reverting things back to that IFT allocation.

Your options look fine, perhaps Quarterly to date as another option? Some people like to see that instead of last month.

I made the following:
28th -
G=25%
C=50%
I= 25%

(Basically moved my S Fund allocation of 25% to 0, and pushed it to the G Fund)

Re: Predictions if democrats win GA runoff???
Why would it pull back 5-10% if the Dema pull out the wins in Georgia when a few days before the election the S Fund (and all funds really) took off when the polls were all pointing to a Win by Biden? That is what pushed the market forward and then it was the vaccine talks. Not sure how you’d have a...
