law and order
When reviewing the game moves of some of the leaders, I note you allow multiple allocation moves in the month. Isn't this following the old TSP rules as opposed to current trading restrictions? Would it not be better to have your fantasy game conform to today's TSP rules to avoid a player making a r...

1st IFT of the month
They are probably using past performance of the I Fund when selecting the I Fund for their first move of the month. Too many things have changed in today's (sic) market. The strength of the dollar, the changing Chinese market, European banking problems, commodity losses. The I in my mind is simply n...

I'm New and I Already have a question
Most of the comments posted to this question tumble around the allowable temporary removal of assets from a TSP account. But I remain wary of taking any money out of the program because sometimes what you think you know about this program turns out to be different from what happens. I will admit tha...

Would it be more prudent to tighten the budget to pay down the debt and keep the new money flowing into the TSP at a time when the markets appear to be bottoming their plunge? Isn't it almost time to allocate new money to the I Fund to catch the bottom before the I begins to rise? It could return at...

Actually it sounds like you have more than one problem. First, you should be monitoring what is happening in your TSP account on a regular basis, at least once a week. I normally use TSPMoney.com to see what is going on. The fund charts are excellent to get a feel for what direction each fund is mov...

yo, dudes, get with the program. Obviously you are not following the Ebb guy. He's as stymied as we are by the new TSP restrictions, so he's branched into suggesting some ETF moves and some shorts. You see, if we apply the simple formula, A + B + C - D = DR, where A is defined pensions and annuities...

fantasytsp account allocations
you could also look at TSPTalk.com and TSPMoney.com (fund return charts are great). In the TSP Talk.com there is a guy who has developed charts predicting what the TSP Funds will do. However due to the trading restrictions in place he is more interested in buying individual stocks using his Ebb Char...

I completely agree with you. The new system will hurt prospects for a good retirement.
