FantasyTSP Repairs In Progress
Several users have reported problems with their fantasyTSP.
Thank you for being patient. I have to read enough code and play around to figure out what TSPKing intended certain functions to do, before I can even begin to troubleshoot some of these issues.
Yes, the site worked before and it has bugs now. For several reasons-
1) Some of that has to do with a different server environment. For example, if I'm running a different version of PHP than he was, then the code could respond differently.
2) But a lot of it comes down to how dates and times are handled. TSPking's method was to calculate the time at GMT and then manually offset it for EST. This also required manually changing the offset value to account for daylight savings. I am slowly replacing these with PHP's built-in time functions, which handle time zones and daylight savings for me.
3) Finally, there are some things that used to be semi-automatic but at some point king started doing manually (price updates, and holidays). I am writing code to make these completely automatic. The code DOES work, but because I'm not familiar with the way he wrote everything else, often new code causes unexpected problems.
If you had issues with your fantasyTSP, they *should* be resolved by Saturday evening (tonight). If you still have issues, please report them here.
Finally, it IS possible for me to do whole-account recalculations. As long as your fantasyTSP allocations are submitted when intended, then even if I mess the site up or I mess up the price updates, I can still re-calculate based on your allocation dates.
I promise the site will be faster and more reliable in a few weeks.

Thank you...we certainly understand that things will take a little time to get worked out as a result of the transfer from King to you. No worries, we are just grateful you are so willing to continue the site and in the long haul improve on it!

Great Job Matt. Thank you for keeping the dream alive

The number of complaints you get from me is proportional to amount of money I pay for this service

5 day through 1 year returns showing N/A and 2020 ytd showing 0%. No Complaints, looks better than the -10% that was there before. Thank You for all the Hard work! Beyond happy with the efforts to keep this site going.

Very much appreciate you taking over the site and keep it running. There is nothing else out there that has these kinds of TSP tracking tools and collaborating with others.

I noticed that too. Was that working a couple of weeks ago before the move?pzmcarter wrote:5 day through 1 year returns showing N/A and 2020 ytd showing 0%. Thank you for all of your hard work. I noticed on my iphone and Android tablet that the site is really taking a long time to load.

Yes, as far as I can remember it was working. First time I noticed it was Monday morning. Looks like 2020 ytd is back up
