Leaderboard petition

Post by 12squared »

Matt,
It's depressing enough when you aren't doing as well as the G fund - in May! It's even more so when your ranking is in the 1000s. The reason for the latter is that there are about 1300 members who have been in the G fund all year. Most have been there for a lot longer than that. Most active members aren't that patient. Consequently our IFTs have brought all but 5 of us (as of May 8) below the G line.

Please exclude any "members" from rankings who have not logged on in the past 12 months. I'm sure they wouldn't mind.

Thank you,
12²

The G-men are taking over (and women)! It's no big deal to me, but it would be interesting to know how many accounts are duplicates set up by folks. I only have one account I use.

I'd love to see an "Ignore Infrequent Users" filter per 12^2's suggestion.

Losing out to a thousand inactive accounts isn't fun?

I'd like to be able to reset or delete my fantasy TSP and start over. Used to be able to do that. Just missed so many IFTs that it doesn't reflect my real TSP strategy. So, it i one of those inactive ones.
Good luck with your TSP and retirement plans!

It would also be helpful to have an "Whole Time Period" option, to filter out those who joined after Jan 1, or who recently reset their accounts.

You do have the sort option of years, all the wall back for 10 years. Doesn't this do what you are asking?

I thought there was already a rule that says you have to check-in at least every three months to be included in the leader board.

There may have been a rule but it's not being enforced on the new site.

If we could simply export the leaderboard data to excel, we could at least filter and sort this stuff ourselves! Please add an export button!

If there are any intentions to improve the leaderboard, Some Suggestions would be:

- Defaulting to the last 365 days, 180 days, or current year.
- Adding Filters for each data set ( Last IFT date especially)
- Making bigger, the full page leaderboard of the previous website is still sorely missed

I love data. numbers are extremely helpful, leaderboard numbers are actually the way I gained 40%-50% on my TSP account yearly for the first two years using TSP Center to calculate "Herd mentality" for recent IFTs and allocate accordingly. I have honestly used TSP Center only to check to see if it has been updated ever since the last major website revision. I imagine I am not the only one.
