TSP balance

Post by head »

My Fantasy TSP Balance is updated daily but my TSP Balance is not. The last time my actual TSP.gov was updated was July 16. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

My actual TSP balance updates daily but the amount in G-Fund zeroes out each day...

If you're having a trouble with the official TSP website, I recommend contacting them.

For years my fantasy balance and my actual TSP balance would update daily on the TSP Center website. But since the middle of July of this year, only my fantasy balance is updated daily on TSP Center. Is there anyway to correct this situation so my actual TSP is also updated daily? Thanks.

Hello to all.

I have a problem similar to this. I updated my TSP balance to F and requested an IFT to F as well on 27 July and it has not taken effect. I remember a few weeks ago there was a problem with IFTs so that is way I had not mentioned anything think it would have updated by now.

Have a good one and keep up the great work.

the constant whining is tedious. This site does not track your actual tsp.

dougellen1: In my case and I would think that most of us understands its not the actual TSP. There is no way it could do that since none if us provide credentials for the actual TSP site.

If I understand Head's comment correctly, him and I are trying to bring to the attention, that even though we have updated the balance % and fund for the TSP Balance "tracking" part of this site is not matching up with what we have when we corroborate against the actual TSP.gov site after a few days (at least for me).

In my case I'm adding that a change of funds for my FANTASY TSP did not registered and took effect as expected.

You are wrong dougellen1, when you input your actual TSP balance on this website, it will be updated when the market prices are posted, just like your fantasy balance will be updated. Sometimes my actual TSP balance shown on Tspcenter will be off by $0.01, or $0.04, so I correct the mistake. I have been using this website since 2016, and only since July of this year, has my actual TSP not been updated daily, but my fantasy is always updated. This is not whining, just a plain fact.

Apparently I cannot see the new L funds (L2025 for example) that were added, in my personal account. So I cannot adjust my balance correctly.

Not sure I am following you Head. Are you saying that a person can use their TSP.GOV balance here somehow to follow it? If so, I'd certainly like to do this. Thank you for any information you can provide.

Racer, you can go to your Fantasy TSP. Look in the left hand column for "TSP Balance (manage)". Click on the blue ink for "(manage)". This takes you to a new screen where you can enter your real TSP balance, contributions, and contribution allocation.

Tried to post a screenshot showing how to enable the real TSP feature, got a 256KB max file size error.

Tried again with even smaller image, got the same error I posted earlier today, about site quota being reached.

Going to try it now. Appreciate the input!

*Update- found it based on your instructions and thanks again for turning me onto this tool!

More people should be made aware this will help us follow our personal accounts more easily.

Not working for me, won’t let me enter my balance. Error msg.

If you guys would use the bugtracker thread, like I said above, you would know that fixing the "real TSP" feature is on the list. It was the lowest priority. As other things get fixed, it's priority becomes higher. It will eventually be fixed. Please stop flooding the forum with bugs, use the bugtracker thread.
