It's okay. The site administrators are likely taking a much-deserved break this weekend, and will probably have everything back up and running up to date soon.
Trying for a yearly gain of at least 9 %. Wish me luck !

I've just gotten used to something being messed up every few weeks.

It happens almost every Friday. It will updated by Monday.crondanet5 wrote:No post about the site not updating the Fantasy Game?
I am just an average Joe. I have no clue to what the market will do.

Re: Is everyone asleep?
Thank you. There is quite a battle going on between 5th and 6th place and Friday's results, properly posted, might help ameliorate today's C Fund drop. But if we wait until tonight then Friday's results won't be tabulated the way they would have come out if the Game had recalculated Friday night and the percentile status of the 5th and 6th place Gamers would be different. Does this make sense? Put it in your own words. But I am singing to the chorus...

However, a proper update will propel the (as it reads) #9 right between the (as it reads) current #5 and #6. And the I is currently down less than both S and C.crondanet5 wrote:Thank you. Re: Is everyone asleep?
Fine with me. Would like to see all Gamers get a good Friday update before Monday update takes place.
BTW, I expected today to be a down day in the markets. Tomorrow as well. But with only one IFT left I'm stuck anticipating a push higher soon. If it doesn't happen I made a mistake. If it goes up, genius. Going for the g.

Re: Is everyone asleep?
So, can Friday's moves be separated from Monday's? Again, my moves lined up with an update glitch on the site. On Friday morning, I made a move from 75G/25C to be in 100G on Monday and waited for the site to update over the weekend and through Monday. It looks like it has now been updated but commingled Friday and Monday moves. Any chance of these being updated?
Seasonals? Charts? Momentum?, The Hot Hand? 1% mo. and flee to G?...choices, choices
Re: Is everyone asleep?
My two cents... am I the only one on this site that's doesn't care about the glitches, fantasy returns and stats? I am grateful to have learned so much on this site and it has had a huge financial impact on me and my portfolio...and truthfully, more for my kids mostly because they will reap it. Fathers know what I'm talking about...I must be crazy. Unless you follow the leaders in the top spot, from Jan 1st, Seems impossible to catch up this late in the year. Question is, how do they do so well.? Guru, you are the man. Thanks everyone!
Re: Is everyone asleep?
Ditto. I figure it will eventually be figured out and rectified. The discussions about moves, and just the knowledge about the TSP has helped me leaps and bounds since I opened mine in 2013.misfit wrote:My two cents... am I the only one on this site that's doesn't care about the glitches, fantasy returns and stats? Yeah, same here - I can understand those who want to be precise down to the last penny but unfortunately poo poo does happen. I'm just along for the ride whether we laugh from being bloated with money or crash and burn in tears.
I have a question for you misfit (something I saw a few weeks back), how do you have so many IFTs for this month? Is that the website making corrections?

Re: Is everyone asleep?
Jlozano,
The two allowable moves are only in funds other than the G. I generally will start a new month in the C and/or S which is one move. Then adjust accordingly throughout the month meaning you can transfer as many times you want but only from those funds (C,S,I etc) to only to the G. You'll notice after my 2 moves, I always increase the G fund. Hope this helps. Have a great day everyone!

Re: Is everyone asleep?
What ..... what kind of wizardry is this?
I didn't know you could do that, I thought it had to be an all 100% into G. Hmmmm ... seems like an interesting strategy to have as your last option if things start going sour but you want to leave a little in case there is money to be made.

Re: Is everyone asleep?
Not only can you move incrementally back to G throughout the month, you can also make additional transfers of less than 1%. At least you can on the real TSP. I don't know if it can be done here. I've never tried it.jlozano042 wrote:What ..... what kind of wizardry is this?
