For me, it means I have to be extremely cautious. Some black clouds on horizon with election, a stimulus stall, lingering COVID issue and overextended stock market. Can a vaccine save it all? That's short term look, longer term I am still very bullish and a buy and hold strategy in the markets I feel will pay off big over the next 2 years. Stay motivated and enjoy the ride.

I only enjoy rides going up btw

I was curious as to what are the causal factors triggering buying into all these asset classes at the same time--which is very unusual

People got more money than they know what do do with. Gonna get more, and nothing to do but "invest".

Makes sense. Good old irrational ex-hubris-ance. I think people *think* they have more money/cash than they what to do with.

For me, such peaky times are the best times to actually have LOTS OF CASH at the ready to buy for when it will turn south.

It's a good point if you think about it. Bars closed, stimulus, entertainment closed, vacations cancelled. Pretty much all the overtime you could ask for, I think people really do have more disposable money at this time.

It did, now it's going north.

Same factors that are bullish for stocks equities are also bullish for precious metals. Big inflation of commodities in general. Bad time to be holding cash. You may wake up one day to find your dollar is only worth 75% of what it was yesterday.

It did, now it's going north.
Given the current unemployment rates, COVID rates, and Feds interventions, don’t you speculate some big drops?

Those items and the ongoing news has not stooped the market (see mid June to now on chart below). One day it will make a substantial turn, but I can only look at the now.
