This is on a Chromebook. I'm getting similar behavior in Google Chrome on a desktop computer. I can login fine on my Android phone ... and all devices I own were working fine prior to 4/16!
I'm still curious why the Chrome browser suddenly stopped working a week ago, but, I'm happy to report that Firefox works on both platforms so I'm happy for now!

I was able to fix this problem by deleting all the cookies associated with the TSP.GOV site from the MS Edge browser.
Deleting individual site cookies in MS Edge is a bit tedious, but a useful technique when you don't want to do a mass deletion of all cookies, which can create problems for other sites.
- Click the three dots in the upper right corner of the Edge screen (...)
Select "Cookies and Site Permissions"
Expand "Manage and delete cookies and site data"
Expand "See all cookies and site data"
Search for TSP.GOV
Expand TSP.GOV by clicking the down-arrow
Delete all TSP.GOV cookies by clicking the trash can icon beside each entry.
Exit the Settings Tab
Reload the browser page for TSP.GOV
- Click the three dots in the upper right-hand corner of the Edge screen (...)
Select "Privacy, search, and services"
Click button "Choose what to clear"
Check the box by "Cookies and other site data" (and any other categories you want to delete)
Select a time range for the items you want to delete (Last hour, 24 hrs, 7 Days, 4 weeks, or All Time)
Click button "Clear now"
