Toma: I did pull out, Candlestick ended up as a LONG UPPER SHADOW, which usually denotes a bearish pattern (short-term)…

I hate those long upper shadows. Looks like we're getting another one today.

Nice chart pattern forming (today), need continued confirmation over the next day (or 2), that a reversal of form is intact.

UPDATE: Beautiful GAP UP Candlestick depicting strong Upward Momentum. Catalysts (here) captured in the following narrative…

https://finance.yahoo.com/news/us-stock ... 12637.html

UPDATE: Hard stop (today) up against 50-Day SMA. Coincidence…

I think not!!!

UPDATE: Incredibly strong “Buying” Volume driving index (SPX) to days’ high towards market close, significant momentum indicator.

Best of Luck (everyone) in all you choose to endeavor!!!

Update on the DWCPF (S fund proxy) chart in the OP, with the Williams %R in-place-of RSI.

The only thing I would add, my “illustrious” friend (no pun intended), is to covert your chart from simple LINE CHART to CANDLESTICKS, which in my humble opinion are a bit more informative.

Though, in doing so, one would lose the Double-Bottom evidenced in the 1st week of October.

Maybe an option is run the charts concurrently…

I can’t do candlesticks, every time I start looking at them, it makes me stop and go fishing.

They do tell a story, however, while you’re out & about (whether it be in your mind or something more majestic). Where else are you going to find those LONG-LEGGED CREATURES (candlesticks) that you so depise?

Plan to work into my 70’s cause I neither fish, nor golf…

Three (3) out last 4 trading sessions have depicted strong GAP UP candlesticks for the C Fund, though the breath (range) of the trading is beginning to narrow. This (often) depicts the beginning of a CONSOLIDATION phase…

This could be occurring as the SPX index nears its ATH, which currently serves as a Resistance Point…

Like anything in life, one should take what is given to us…

The market will truly tell us when it’s ready to correct/adjust. When it does start to decline, I’m from the mind-set that I’ll “let it”, though I don’t have to be a party…

Now that the SPX (C Fund) has hit new ATH(s), the Algo’s have to be adjusted & any Resistance Levels have been removed.
