Plotting moving averages?
Sorry to ask this dump question, as I am sure it is right in front of my nose, but how do you display the various moving averages on the technical page charts? I would like to look at 200 day, 100 day and 50 day, but can not find a way to do it. Thanks for your help.

It's not a dumb question. Here are the steps:MTLobo wrote: ↑Tue Oct 05, 2021 1:20 am Sorry to ask this dump question, as I am sure it is right in front of my nose, but how do you display the various moving averages on the technical page charts? 1 On the chart, click on the "Indicators" button
2 Select "Moving Averages". This will now show the 9-day Moving Average (MA) line.
3 Mouse-over on the "MA 9" text that appears, then click on its "wheel cog" icon
4 Change the Length field value from 9 to 200. Click Ok. The 200-day MA will now show.
5 Repeat the above steps to add the 100 and 50-day MA lines.
If the above doesn't work--your browser may not be allowing these features to work. Use a newer browser version. Good luck.

You might be interested in Kaufman's Adaptive Moving Average (KAMA), https://school.stockcharts.com/doku.php ... ng_average
It's a moving average designed to account for market noise or volatility. KAMA closely follows prices when the price swings are relatively small and the noise is low. KAMA will adjust when the price swings widen and follow prices from a greater distance.
When calculating Kaufman's Adaptive Moving Average, the following standard settings are used:
10 – Number of periods for the Efficiency Ratio.
2 – Number of periods for the fastest exponential moving average.
30 – Number of periods for the slowest exponential moving average.
