Government Retirement & Benefits (GRB) Platform

Post by Scarfinger »

FYI:
Thank you for contacting the Retirement Shared Services Office (RSSO). The RSSO is excited to announce The Government Retirement & Benefits (GRB) Platform.
I logged in and used this. It seemed good for figuring out your pension. I liked that it figured out the sick time and added it to your years of service. It did not include my military time that I bought back. I already did the leg work and got a "paid in full" letter from:

Use GRB with caution.

GRB over-stated my monthly FERS pension by over $300 compared to the estimate from my servicing HR office. I am serviced by DLA and they offer one retirement estimate every 12 months. It's much more inclusive and thorough than GRB.

Did GRB over estimate your pension value $300 a year or month?

Technically they under estimated mine because it didn’t include me military time that I bought back. I have not asked for an estimate from Human Resources yet.
