The point of interest rates rising is going to be tough on everyone whether rising slowly or fast. When the FED started buying the US debt, and lowering interest rates to keep country running in 2009, and kept it up until 2020 so the FED could keep handing out free money, didn't anybody think those days would end? The real problem nobody seems to talk about is the Fed is going to be unloading that US debt load they're carrying, and the markets and retirement funds of many will really go south then.
For the youngsters in the crowd, take it from this old retiree who was working in the 70s during gas rationing, and super high interest rates. You ain't seen nothing to worry about yet, but it's coming, and quick!

Well said!

If you like thin mint cookies, you should try these.

Both are more minty than those sold by GS or made by Keebler elves.

I lost most of my money in the stock market. But I may be able to buy the cheap ones from Walmart.
Thanks Twelve.

A word from the admin:

A few political posts have been deleted on this thread. One member has been perma-banned due to not correcting his behavior after receiving multiple warnings and a couple of temporary bans.

Tomany - please keep providing useful information and daily memes - they are greatly enjoyed by many. But do me a favor and try to stay from touchy subjects. Namely: politics and religion.

I really don't see anything terribly offensive here, but personally I would avoid highly emotional subjects like abortion.

I deleted the problem posts. That’s why you don’t see them. Even so, the banned member had issues with other posts earlier in the thread as well.
