The 'Reasons' for the market's movements. Reminds me of something I was told when I first when into government service, many many years ago, (but probably same today). A few guys were confused about a decision made, which contradicted a previous decisions. And an 'Old Timer' explained it to us. He said "When the government doesn't want to do something, they will tell you lots of reasons why they can't. But if they do want to do it, they will do it. And then 'cherry-pick' one reason why they did."

Nasty GAP DOWN Candlestick, driven by Fed Speak might send me to the sidelines…

Yes, very ominous candlestick. It's tempting to bail but I don't believe that the high on Nov 15th has been properly tested. Price may drop some more here (maybe down to 385) but that high has to be challenged this month.

Maybe we try to test the 200MA again?

Yes, if tomorrow it can close and hold above the 200 EMA and +1 Standard Deviation (both currently at 401.45) then I think this has legs...

Somehow this candle ended up being a WHITE CANDLE, even though the S&P was DOWN 0.31%, someone has to explain that to me (slowly)…

At any rate, Indice closed right @ or near the Sessions’ High…

Quick! Check the Premarket; yep that may be a difference-maker!!!

Two days ago the S&P was up, yet the candle was dark!

...that rattled U.S. financial markets on Thursday
Imagehttps://www.marketwatch.com/story/this- ... 1668701498

"That chart was presented by St. Louis Fed President James Bullard as part of a presentation in Louisville, Ky., and it shows where he sees “the sufficiently restrictive zone” for the central bank’s main policy rate target. Bullard put the zone somewhere between 5% to 7%, up from the current fed-funds rate range of between 3.75% to 4%. That was enough to cause investors to sell off stocks and bonds in tandem, push the dollar higher, and rewire expectations around how high interest rates could go."

The Fed has got us by the gonads! Their charts counts, ours are not worth POOP!

The CROSS Candlestick is (usually) indicative of indecisiveness & yet the Indice’ appeared to close near Sessions’ High…

Go figure!!!

Thought I’d add the 200-Day SMA just as a point of reference…

Nailed 2% on NRGD - MicroSectors U.S. Big Oil Index -3X Inverse Leveraged ETNs; as usual, I think I sold too early (though)…

Entry Point on PULL BACK with confirmation of VOLUME SPIKES & WILLIAMS %R...

These Leveraged ETF(s) can be targeted for your ROTH IRA, which remains a perfect augmentation for one’s TSP…
