Stay Calm Index

Starting the second half of the year, I have a modification on the method.
With a slight change of the title, “Stay” instead of “Keep”.
It’s downsized from the seven chart indicator formulas to three.
The system needed more “Calm” less flip-flopping.
It still focuses on the S fund, but also an all stocks bullish/bearish indicator.
This calmer version started on June 1, and as you can see is bullish.
It will not make the wide swings as before.

I may be late to the party, but can you unpack the buy/sell line?
Is that showing when people are doing said activity, or when you should?

Above 500, you need to have a good reason not to be in stocks (S fund or C).
Below 500, you need a good reason to
be in stocks.

A good reason may be that the market is already down 5% for a month that ain’t even 1/2 over…
Best of Luck (everyone) in all you choose to endeavor!!!

Most people are saying this is a mostly technical correction (meaning reversal to the mean) which is good I guess.
Most of the indices have just breached their March 2020 levels (e.g. near-capitulation?) except for the S&P500--so not quite ready for a short-term broad-based rally or at least consolidation.
BTW I heard that the S&P500 is really just the S&P10 from a market weighing calculation. Nine of those 10 are IT companies (FAANGS et al.). C'mon, finish your crash already

Good justification for TSP to include a mid-cap fund.
