Historical Data on New Site
Does anyone know if they are going to load historical data onto the new TSP site? I don't trust the numbers since I can's see the past.
Re: Historical Data on New Site
On the old site, you could punch in any date and it would tell you your exact balance on the end of that day, but I don't see any way of doing that on the new site. Right now I am trying to figure out a discrepancy in whereas TSP.gov says my account is up 4.50% ytd, while my fantasy account here says I'm down .83% ytd. I've always made the exact same changes to my fantasy account as my real account, so why the difference???
Re: Historical Data on New Site
tsp.gov only shows you your ytd starting form conversion date (like 26May2022) - present. That may be why you see +4.5% P.S. The new site sucks. I hate it.
Re: Historical Data on New Site
I spent over 3 hours on the phone w/TSP fund officials this past week. I was bounced around their "distribution" dept to fix a discrepancy i noticed in my recent funds distribution since the new TSP site went live, only to be told that my case has to be escalated and to expect a call back next week. The Feds had my funds distribution incorrectly set at 50-50% between C and S when it should have been 20%G and 40-40% split between C and S. The incorrect balance distribution resulted in more losses than otherwise. Like jimcasada, I always matched my Fed TSP IFTs with my Fantasy TSP moves. I also was told that historical data (for most past 10 years only) is still being uploaded. I'm really disliking this Feds new TSP website.
P.S.--As a follow-on: On either tab for Account Summary or Account Activity, there is a right arrow next to your balance. By clicking on that arrow and then balance history, you'll see monthly balances from the point of the system update (end of May) to present; but not IFT dates, just end of month balances.

Re: Historical Data on New Site
Twinkc was your balance lower or just the loss %. I really hope you are not saying your total balance is showing lower than it should.
Re: Historical Data on New Site
It is lower as a result of Fed TSP placing my funds in 100% stocks (50-50 C and S) since end of May/beginning of June thereby creating greater losses than otherwise.
