Calculating return for month in TSPCalc
Hi all,
I am wondering if there is a way to calculate the average return for a specific investment strategy in TSPCalc? For example, the strategy I am using has me in S for June, but if the average return is only 1% over the past decades, may be better to sit out and see what happens with the debt ceiling. Does anyone know how to do this?

Not sure if I'm reading your questions correctly. But if you are asking how the TSP funds reacted in previous months where the debt ceiling crisis was looming, you could look at those months in your strategy to see how they performed. Try changing just those months to see how it effects the overall gains. Here is an article with a few of the historical debt ceiling increases.

Along with monthly returns, it would be really helpful to know the return for each IFT. Alas, TSPcalc is focused solely on calendar year returns.mrwawa wrote: ↑Mon May 15, 2023 11:25 am Hi all,
