I guess I've been living in a hole and not paid much attention to federal rate cuts and its effects on the TSP. What do you think we can expect, as I surprised a rate cut would have any adverse effects on the markets . . .

Lots of smart people on here, so what are your thoughts?

I am expecting muted response. Perhaps even a negative response.

I'm thinking we'll get a drop happening either Friday or the week after. It'll probably end up into a great buying experience, later in October.

The only thing that causes me a to pause this thinking a bit is that many other people on FinTwit are saying the same thing. You know how the markets work...so who knows...

My thinking is based on seasonality, cycles and typical post cutting behavior.
