Since I began investing in TSP I always followed the dollar is weak so I fund will be strong. I made the move to the I ever since DXY took a dive. Look at the 3 year graph and you’ll see that the dollar still far from where it was . Before the “war”, I was at a 42% rate of return adding last year and this year’s first two months. Just food for thought.

Some of my work shows me that the Dollar ($DXY) might be in channel that goes up over the next 2 years (obviously incrementally). Not everything is confirming it...but it is something to pay attention to in your long term investing.

Wow, congrats to anyone out there who caught this crazy wave. I expected a bear rally but not like this. I can't figure it out. I am still super nervous with the relative low volume rise, the Straight still materially closed, the cease fire deadline - but it's money in the coffers no matter. I didn't play it. So interested in your thoughts. Does this mark a new Bull push up? Or is this an extension of the Bull and we just had a correction? Or is this a major head-fake and the institutions are going to liquidate the whole thing?

I think that we may see a bit of a drop before the end of the day. Investors are still nervous over all this geopolitical stuff, and don't know what could happen over the weekend.

Yeah, I was reading just the other day that even if they opened Hormuz tomorrow, it would still take 6 months before all traffic went back to normal. Also, I read that Indonesia is now considering putting a tax on all the products flowing through their straits. I wouldn't be shocked in Panama and Egypt join too. What a mess.
