TSP system glitch
Greetings, All,
Has anyone had the TSP online system completely butcher a fund allocation? I recently switched my mix to C and I. Today, my dashboard shows it went into S and I instead. This error cost me a lot of money in missed gains. ThriftLine support says they can't do anything to fix it. Has anyone run into similar issue before?
Thanks!

Re: TSP system glitch
No, I haven't had it glitch like that. I have had instances where I thought I clicked C when in reality I clicked S, so the fault was mine. But never a TSP-side error.

Re: TSP system glitch
Only thing I can think of is I made an IFT that never went through. I KNOW I didn't mess it up, but I did make a couple bucks from it.
Re: TSP system glitch
One thing I really HATE from the new system is that you can do 2 things that are badly worded. 1. Is to switch money between funds. That's fine and the way it should be. 2. Is that you can put the "intended" percentage you want to attain of a holding(s). So, for example, you can put that you want to attain 80% in C. Then the TSP will keep buying C with your cash until it hits that place. I hate that not because of the functionality (I mean, more options is better in my mind), but because the distinction between both is so badly indicated that its easy to do one or the other. I did the 2nd one a couple of times in the past. It cost me quite a bit as I thought I was safely hanging out in G during terrible turbulence (e.g. 2022). I never called the TSP, but did send them a strongly worded email. They responded that the systems are new and we're all learning (as in the user is learning, not them). I took it as "sucks to be you." It took me a while to get over that. Thankfully time helps...
