Excellent post! You have outdone yourself.
Gave me a big chuckle even though I lost a big chunk of my ass yesterday.

Re: Why did the stock market sell Yesterday?
I was just watching IRA Epstein's "Mar 14th End of the Day Financial" video and it occurred to me that maybe the rollover of the futures contracts from Mar contracts to Jun contracts could have contributed to the sudden hit on the markets? Could that have been at least partially a catalist to drive us down yesterday?
Didn't see that on any of the talking head shows though.

Law87, how did you come up with "gay" from my post? Is there some subtle sub meaning that I am missing? Please explain the sarcasm?

I was dying from the Motley Fool one!
I think Law87 was referring to the original post that mentioned gay marriage being a possible sell news.

Tomanyiron,
I didn't realize you wrote for so many different news organizations.
Your insight is beyond hilarious.
This is the best laugh I've ever had while the market is kicking my @$$.

No I didn’t write it. But I knew everyone that reads the blogs understands the concept of the joke. You can’t ever get a consensus of what caused what, and how confusing it gets.
Joshua M Brown wrote it and he has another simi-humorous entry over the weekend, which applies to the unrest in Ukraine, and possibly US markets reactions.
“Guns & Butter: The only thing more difficult than controlling millions of people, is controlling a billion. Heaven forbid they’re poor. Unemployed. Their stomachs empty, growling. So when nations start fighting, smart leaders start hoarding.
Anyhow, in the past 30days, non-edible commodities fell; oil -1%, natural gas -3%, copper -10%. But wheat surged 15%, corn+8%, soybeans +5%, oats +14%, coffee +39%, sugar +8%, cattle +4%, hogs+20%. Of course, gold is +4%.
And Smith & Wesson rallied +10%.”
