Just taking a poll about the shutdown, again.

Just taking a poll about the shutdown, again.
I'm doing it again.
This is just a poll. Not looking for a discussion. If you want to hash it out, start a different topic please.
You can pick two. So you can vote on your current work situation and your opinion. I.E. you can select 'No Work; No Pay' and 'I support the shutdown for wall funding'.

OCTOBER: This is one of the peculiarly dangerous months to speculate in stocks in. The others are July, January, September, April, November, May, March, June, December, August, and February. - Pudd'nhead Wilson's Calendar

Still getting paid, although I heard that my overtime might be swapped to help furloughed workers. Can't complain about that all too much, but promotion to GS9 is still guaranteed. And the VA is still covering grad school. 0 debt + paycheck = happy me!

Just curious. What exactly do you plan to accomplish with your poll numbers? Are you looking to prove/disprove something in particular? Thanks.

Just curiosity about how people feel here.chi7834a wrote:Just curious. What exactly do you plan to accomplish with your poll numbers? Are you looking to prove/disprove something in particular? Thanks.

I saw a similar poll in another site which included the option, "Retired" in pay status. I was surprised that a third of those on the website were retired, not affected by the shutdown. maybe here it is the same, more or less.

There is no crisis at the border. Trump knows to even have a chance at being re-elected (if he isn't impeached by 2020) he needs that wall to please his non-college grad white base. His bread and butter. The wall is a symbol to them of their perceived superiority over brown people. Nothing more. These low wage, uneducated Trump supporters choose to blame brown people for their lack of money. They see the affluent culture of America and want in. However, the door is closed. And they are mad about it. Gotta be someone's fault right? In steps Trump pointing the finger at brown people and says build a wall. They mindlessly chant back.
A wall will not stop drugs, or lower crime. It is a waste of money. More money this country doesn't have to begin with. It also would be an environmental disaster. Which not many people are talking about.
How would Trump supporters feel about 'a national emergency' being declared? I thought Republicans hated the idea of government overreach. What about the land owners who would have property seized due to eminent domain? Is that ok with them? As long as it's not their families land I guess? And what goes around is all around as Ricky says. I just pray someday soon Trump supporters will stop being such mindless lemmings. Look at what is really going on here. Country over blind allegiance to a con man.

This is so irritating. I served everyone during Afghanistan, your identity politics are garbage. Arries asked to keep politics off this topic. Everything you listed just irritates me. I'm a White, college educated male, who supports our President, and the country regardless of what it "looks like." I think you need a serious slap of reality.tspwizard1 wrote:There is no crisis at the border. I also can't give you anymore negative points. So I hope someone else does. This is TSPCenter, not Politico.

retired, hope to be getting annuity on the 1st, so I just voted on support/do not support. In previous shutdowns I worked without pay.
Hey Billionaire- what agency is hiring?

I work without pay. The men and woman who work on our southern boarder say we need more barriers. I’ll trust there judgement more than the likes of a career politician like Nancy Pelosi.

I support ending amateur polls.

USCIS -- we're hiring intelligence specialists and analysts. be on the lookout once the shutdown is finished. There's also 100 immigration officer openings as well.Midway wrote:retired, hope to be getting annuity on the 1st, so I just voted on support/do not support. You should use some of your money to buy a mirror. Trump hates people that look like you.
