You can't have it both ways. Your property value most likely increased in 2020, so expect your taxes to go up too. With luck they were reassessed in 2019....
Good lesson to not rely on pay increases, but to make yourself more valuable. Every year I made sure to have my supervisor quantify in writing the standards I had to meet for a quality step increase when I was a GS. That way I knew what I had to do and they had no wriggle room to not put me in for one.
