Hey. I'm a newbie. I totally forgot I had $ in a TSP for 10 years. It's a small amount but if you were to give advice to someone with a few thousand in their TSP and were interested in growth strategies, what resources, books, podcasts, advisors/companies to follow to help them get on the right footing? Most of these forums look like they're in a different language so I have a lot to learn.

Start by reading Aitrus seasonal musings thread if you haven't: viewtopic.php?f=14&t=19005&sid=c1ff0b3f ... e6911a76b6

I also like this website and the TSP strategies he gives options for: https://richonmoney.com/tsp-allocation/

Good luck!

Don't change anything in your real TSP right away. Start a TSP "fantasy" account and use it to practice IFTs until you become confident in your own decision making.

“Things worthwhile generally don’t just happen. Luck is a fact, but should not be a factor. Good luck is what is left over after intelligence and effort have combined at their best. Negligence or indifference are usually reviewed from an unlucky seat. The law of cause and effect and causality both work the same with inexorable exactitudes. Luck is the residue of design”
- Wesley Branch Rickey, general manager of the Brooklyn Dodgers, 1946
