Military action with IRAN on deck? How soon? How will the markets react?

Looks like the market could care less about it. Still up so far. Still up even after reports from IHS on both the service and manufacturing PMIs are significantly down. I remember the famous quote from Warren Buffett...”be fearful when the people are greedy and greedy when people are fearful”. Right now is the time to be greedy...actually it was time to he greedy several weeks ago. People have misinterpreted his saying and thinking the opposite is occurring right now.

The very last thing this country would support in any way shape or form is a war with Iran. It won't happen. No money for it. No time for it. No care for it. No need for it.

Appreciate the civil responses. Looks like I should clarify some things:

The question is more about what the markets would do in the event of (imminent) military action. Not about what the markets would do now, with no military action.

The question is more about military action, not necessarily war. Military action can occur without the public's prior approval/knowledge. And it can last for a long time, without war being declared ... as history has shown us.

I'm convinced it's all about oil. The oil price that is. He fears if oil goes too low, then US companies will ask for a bailout.

He doesn't seem to fear that, imo. He's already stated, after the price drop, his support for doing exactly that.
