Proof positive that WE OURSELVES (the common man or woman) can come up with, at worst, the same answers as the TV experts (bull or bear, left or right) and at best, come up with better answers than them. Result? Mo' money.

How?
1. Set your own investment targets
2. Get raw immutable dataset and teach yourself market economy fundamentals (e.g. Ray Dalio and company)
3. Analyze said data without bias or hidden agendas (apply critical thinking principles)
4. Construct investment plan per analysis results
5. Execute plan, monitor it regularly, then adjust as needed to keep it on track

Remember that everything else (breaking news, "expert" advice, whatever stock market crisis du jour popups) is clutter, chaff, meant to deceive or stray you.....bullshit that keeps you from meeting your goal.

No more listening to the taking heads or even paying fees to your financial "experts". That was the best advice i got a few years ago--my portfolio loves me for it now.

This line “when the legend becomes fact print the legend" has always remained with me since I saw that film. Which I interpret to "If a lie makes a better story, print it anyway".

And illustrates perfectly why the press doesn't serve the needs of the people. I think CNN has that printed on all their office walls. They get caught and have to pay, but not often enough.

After what I've seen lately with Trump supporters, you may want to rethink who that syndrome really applies to.

If two buddies place a bet, it's usually never funny to the loser. But I guess it depends on the stakes. I find the current US situation funny, and sad; if that's possible ... I guess it is.

That said, I wasn't rooting for Hillary (cheerleaders root), but I would have preferred her over Trump. (Before you ask now, or later, I believe voting is a private matter, and won't ever declare definitely who I vote for, even if it's 'obvious.')

I don't know if you've noticed, but I consider myself to be capable of respectable humor. And in my opinion, anything I'd fine funny today, I should have also found funny when the video was shot, had I been present. Maybe that's just me. I can't, in my mind, apply a current event, to a boring event in the past, and somehow the whole thing is funny to me.

Now, if I'd yelled and screamed and cried at you to stop posting that stuff here. And also yelled that this is a tsp site, what's your problem! Then that'd be a current event, and funny in it's own right; and you should fall on the floor laughing. I would if it were me in that situation. Grown men are weird like that, I guess. Not all of us, though. Fortunately, you haven't flaked out on me, yet.

However, I did find it funny, some people's reaction to the 2016 results as they became obvious. That was funniness as it was being created, not after the fact. I have a high standard when it comes to humor, I think.

You've seen some of the Trump stuff I've posted, so I'll use something different, something you're capable of laughing at, I assume:

I did find an animated gif, or was it a video, of clips of Hillary stumbling on different occasions. They captured her at her worst in each clip. The one of her stumbling on the stairs was the funniest. Funny, and not funny (possible health issue?), at the same time.

As you have most likely seen, there are snowflakes on both sides.
