Anyone think the I fund could be making a short term run to catch up with the S and C. Historically, this fund has bitten me in the butt so I'm reaching here but always looking for opinions outside my experience.

Based on seasonal data, I have not found the I Fund to be a good place in this period. Usually S is the place to be these days. It is showing if you just look at yesterday. I'll flip into G after the first few trading days of June.

Good luck!

It's an interesting question isn't it? I believe the I fund is primarily large Asian and European companies. Both parts of the world that seem to be ahead of the U.S. in the covid-19 recovery so one would think these index funds should be leading the pack upwards. But as you note so far they are not.

I recall Jack Bogle saying that everything was international these days. I wish I could have bought in when the Fund was low in March.

I wish I bought in, completely in 2009. I would be on "cloud super rich" right now.
