In my virtual opened GLD Jul 12 $155 Call @ $4.55, first stab at options and have a lot to learn. I meant to only go out 1 month, but oh well it's virtual.
Re: Option picks - place some of your option here
BodhiDrool,
Open a new one and try this bought $155 July and sold $165 or $170 June to save you $56 or $26 per contact on premium and it it reach to either $165 or $170 you still profit over 100%. Save even more if you go with July. I like calendar spread because more potential profit for $165 or $170 expire worthless. Even with swing trade I still see more profit (% increase) since you put less money up front and more power to buy more contracts.
You too skiehawk11,
APPL with $20 spread save more than $5 for time premium.

Thanks for the tip Winner. I'll give it a go. Is this a debit or credit spread?

Re: Option picks - place some of your option here
Opened two positions on SPY
SPY AUG 12 140 puts for .97 cents - 250 dollar position - (approximately x50 leverage)
SPY SEPT 12 140 puts for 2.86 - 500 dollar position - (approximately x20 leverage)
The AUG has more risk so I would advise against it or at least risk less capital with it.
