1 - If you use a strategy as a guide, what would make you decide to change the trading days?

2 - The dates can be changed in the results section for each strategy (currently the dates are

Some people like to exclude presidential election years, or exclude non-presidential election years. Some people like to exclude crash years.

For me, I often use the blind tests or the seasonal builder in conjunction with that function. I'll pick a strategy that is based on 2004-2012 data, for example, and then change the Results table to show 2013-2020, to see how it would have performed in the real world.

I don't like to wait out the weekend, especially long weekends. If the numbers look good I'll often trade on the last day of the week rather than wait. Same concept for the end of the month. If those two coincide, it's almost definite that I will trade early.

Using presidential cycles in investing is big. Is this possible with TSPCalc? I.e. could you see which strategy performed best (on average), within certain standards (e.g. standard deviation) within the cycle? E.g. every election year, #223334, post-presidential year #334455, mid terms #434343, pre-presidential year #343433 and so on.
