I used to view the pre-market movement as a sign of direction. With the volatility of the past 8 weeks, that's just not possible

What are the odds the Fed issues a statement similar to the one below when it hits that mark in a month or two:

That article (Biden’s Latest Taiwan Gaffe Stokes Tensions With Beijing) makes no mention of how China is connected to today's market reaction.

A more likely catalyst:
The Stock Market Is Falling Because Snap’s Warning Has Rekindled Recession Worries
"Snap blamed the economy when it lowered its sales and profit guidance for the current quarter"

SNAP was down 30% pre-market, almost 40% at 10:30 EDT.

Or just maybe....all of the above are the items that the market movers want to use as EXCUSES that will help them get to their goal, which is to get to a specific price point, just like this:

Because just maybe reaching that price point is what triggers the Fed to stop hiking rates for the moment--triggering a massive relief rally.

What are the odds this occurs during the TSP blackout period?

[throws up hands]

PS - 12^2 - i'm fairly certain the powers-that-be are aware that the TSP transactions are gonna be static for a 1-2 (3?) week period--and are machinating that information actively to their best interests (which is typically AGAINST our best interests  )

My belief, at least I think it is, is that our Fantasy Website should follow TSP.GOV with move restrictions to keep everything tightly coupled…

Investors seem to like the fact that the Fed is targeting “only” 50 Basis Point Hikes the rest of the year, Stocks may not end up liking that @ all…

We shall see!!!
