5-27 Fund price updates

Post by mhende2 »

As of 2200 MT there's still no daily update to fund prices and fantasy updates. Hopeful we see the updates before next Tuesday's open.

Have a nice weekend everyone.

The issue is not here. TSP website has not updated prices. Maybe due to the updates that are happening. We may not see prices until transactions are opened back up.

No one seems to know when "first week of June" is? Not even TSP admins. Whoo-boy!

Yeah, it's not this site. It is the lack of TSP official pricing.

Yes but when you look close it is missing May 27 which was a big up day. The price for May 31 is the same as May 26.

The reason that the Fund Prices are frozen at 26 May is likely because the TSP.gov site has been redesigned. MJ programmed TSPCenter to pull data from the old location on TSP.gov. With the redesign of TSP.gov, it's likely that the daily price information has moved to a new location, and so TSPCenter isn't pulling from the correct place anymore. Growing pains, folks. Please be patient.

Thank you gbnooks for sharing that link so members can still access the daily returns.

At least the fund prices froze on a day when we all made some money! That's worth a snapshot for a few days...

However, there is still no option to download price history.

Forget May 27 & 31. The change in F, C & S funds from May 26 to June 3 is the same as the changes for AGG, SPY & VXF.

TSPcenter is updating now. For 5/27 and 6/1 I used the underlying indexes to calculate a % change, and then applied that to the previous TSP fund prices. So those two dates are my approximation.

Auto-update should work now, although from the way their website it coded, it looks to me like they're going to be changing it again. I think they have a stopgap in place so once they fix that, i will have to follow suit.

Fantasy balances are missing for those two dates but i will fix it sometime this week.

Thanks for the update Matt. You've done great with this new TSP.gov change as I'm still unable to login and view my balances following their setup instructions. Hopeful the TSP.gov site will improve this week and we'll be able to login without interruptions soon.

My real account balance is running about $10,000 more than my TSPCenter site? Is that due to inaccurate values for May 27 and 31 on one of the sites?
